The Callawassie Island Photo Club (CIPC) meets the 2nd Tuesday of each month (except July and August) at 6:30 pm. Unless otherwise noted, all meetings are held in the Palmetto Room of the clubhouse.

Back to Basics.-- It takes a combination of characteristics to create a good photograph, including content/subject matter, composition, lighting, and development/post-processing, all working together to produce the image envisioned by the photographer. With the submission deadline approaching for the photography club’s fall exhibit, it seems like a good time to brush up on the components of a good photograph, so we will be discussing these in our meeting on Tuesday, October 14th.. Whether the shots are planned in advance, or spur of the moment, these factors all contribute to taking a photo from mundane to marvelous, come share your thoughts on the factors you consider when creating your photos.
The meeting will start with an informal time for sharing at 6:30 pm, followed at 7 pm with our presentation and discussion. (And yes, there will be food!)
